ElectronicsForge picks the parts, works out what connects to what, and draws it as a KiCad sheet — real library symbols, net labels, power flags, and the supporting passives each IC needs. Ask for a change in plain English and the sheet is rewired; a rule check flags missing decoupling, floating inputs and unpowered rails before you export.
The netlist becomes a real board: KiCad footprints placed on an outline sized to the product, the copper autorouted with Freerouting, ground poured and stitched. The app decides the layer count from density and signal integrity rather than asking you to guess it. Download the .kicad_pcb, or the Gerber X2 and Excellon package your fab asks for.
The PRODUCT tab designs a case around the board you just laid out: outer shape, wall thickness, board standoffs, and an opening for every connector, button and LED — measured off the placed footprints, so the hole in front of J1 really is in front of J1. Refine it in plain English, then download it as a printable .stl with the dimensions written out.

Every line of the BOM is an orderable part number, not a placeholder. Prices and stock come from distributor data through Octopart — Digi-Key, Mouser, LCSC and the rest — and each part carries its datasheet, its package and the alternatives you can swap in when the fab says a line is out of stock.

1 credit = €0.01, so €5 buys 500 credits. A complete design typically costs around 150 credits — about €1.50 — and the dashboard shows what every request was charged. Bigger boards cost more than small ones, so the number above is a typical figure, not a quota.
Ask for a device class and the planner researches what that thing actually consists of — the blocks it must have, the hardware off the board it talks to, and what it is commonly confused with — before a single part is chosen.
What ElectronicsForge does not do: certify anything. It can name the standards that apply to a market as a starting point, but what it produces are design files — not test reports and not declarations of conformity. That work stays with you and your test house.
